Pickled Beets
- 2 cans sliced beets
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- (optional, but good) 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
Directions
- Arrange beets in jar(s).
- In a small pot, boil water, vinegar, salt, and sugar (red
pepper)
- Pour over the beets
- Tightly lid the jars, and refrigerate 7 days before
