Good eats

Alpaca Peruvian Chicken
3726 Mayfair St, Durham, NC 27707
Peruvian rotisserie chicken at it’s finest! The chicken is moist, tender, and the skin crisp and well seasoned. Their black beans are excellent, as are the fried plantains (both maduros and tostones).
Note: There are other locations around Durham and surrounding cities, too.

NuvoTaco
2512 University Dr, Durham, NC 27707
Local favorite and some of the best tacos in NC. A nice selection of fillings including chicken, pork, chicken liver, shrimp, fish, and more. I particularly love the: pinto beans, salsa, guacamole, and the gold margarita.

Sitar Indian Buffet
3630 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd, Durham, NC 27707
An impressive variety of fresh, delicious Indian dishes served lunch and dinner served 7 days a week. I love that the buffet often has a few different desserts and sometimes mango lassi.

Dino’s Pizza
3109 Shannon Rd Suite 100, Durham, NC 27707
This is the modern version of your hometown pizza joint, with everything a bit more modern and improved. The pizza is thin, crispy, and the toppings are high quality.

Fonda Lupita

Delicious tacos, margaritas, and guacamole. I always order a cup of the cucumber lime agua fresca.

Thaiangle
200 N Mangum St, Ste 101, Durham, NC 27701
Thai cuisine with all the hits, from noodles to fried rice to curry. My favorite is the Thai Basil with tofu & veggies.
